Adoption Process
Meeting Requirements
Before any adoption can take place, we do make sure that all adoptees have the adequate enclosure or habitat needed for their new reptile friend. These can vary depending on the reptile that might be adopted, but that is answered on a case by case basis which include the size of the reptile, age, temperament, etc.
Once photos have been submitted and approved, then we would schedule you in to come by and pick out your new friend!
Proper Research
We do require that all adoptees have done the research needed for the reptile that they are interested in adopting. Knowing what to expect with their new reptile is not only important but necessary, so many of the reptiles we take in either need detailed care, constant monitoring or just being prepared for their growth and space needed. We are always here to answer any questions regarding care or health. We also highly recommend the following care sheets which are also provided with the adoption paperwork.
